ある台湾のサプライによると、ディスプレイメーカーのWintekがAppleと共同で新製品の開発に当たっているそうです。それらは液晶電話サイズではないタッチパネルで、製造はMacBookと同様に台湾Quantaが請け負うとウワサされています。
さらにこれらの製品が今年の後半に登場するという情報もあるようです。
ここ最近のウワサでは、3月24日にはプロ向けソフトウェアの発表が行われるという情報がありますが、他にも、iPhone OS 3.0、そして、このMacBook Touch、または、iTabletの話も行われるというウワサもあります。前者の方が現実的ですが、後者のほうが個人的にはおもしろいです。
